ABSTRACTSkin potential activity was measured on the palmar surface of waking monkeys. The skin potential reflex showed faster habituation to simple light stimuli than to complex sound stimuli. The frequency of spontaneous skin potential responses was higher in the noisy condition than in the rest condition.
