Personnel PsychologyVolume 3, Issue 1 p. 1-15 Psychological Aspects of Industrial Conflict II. Motivation Ross Stagner, Ross Stagner Ross Stagner (Ph.D., Wisconsin, 1932) was Assistant Personnel Manager for Koppers Company, Inc. from 1942 to 1945. At the war's end he returned to Dartmouth College and has since gone to the University of Illinois, where he is Professor of Psychology and a member of the staff of the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations; supervising research on labor-management relations and teaching Psychology of Industrial Conflict. Dr. Stagner has participated in two of the General Motors Annual Conferences on Personnel and Industrial Relations.
