Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze a rabies case observed in a field fox (Pseudalopex vetulus) found trampled in EC-187, but precisely in the Patos locality in the city of Crateús-CE. Go fragment of the cord from the cervical region was collected and sent to the Central Public Health Laboratory of Ceará, where the diagnosis of rabies was confirmed.
