Abstract

The development and increase of what has been called Web 2.0 on the Internet is spectacular. The concept of Web 2.0 is a way of stimulating social networks and was born from an initiative of a North American publishing company owned by Tim O'Reilly. The first developments remind us of some sites such as MySpace and today they continue in the same line: FaceBook and even YouTube in the field of videos. But now the vertiginous increase has reached the area of Tourism, like for example the Couch Surfing Project, that is to say a global community that was born three years ago and that consists of a network of virtual friends with the purpose of exchanging hospitality and hosting services in their own residences.
