Abstract

The construction industry in Ukraine is not experiencing the best of times. Two years ago, the development of this industry, although not fast enough, but grew up. Today, analysts note a steady and significant decline in capacity. The epidemiological situation in the world, insufficient technical and digital support, outdated means and methods of construction and design - many factors that together delay the development of perhaps the most important industry for the state and regional economy, because construction is an industry with great potential vital activity of the whole country as a whole. To increase the level of domestic construction, as well as improve the functioning of the construction industry of Ukraine, it is necessary to pay attention to the need for large-scale implementation of advanced information modeling of buildings – BIM – a resource for presenting all characteristics of the object (physical and functional) in digital format. Thanks to its technology, this modeling ensures that all changes made to the process are taken into account, and accordingly adjusts all related criteria to obtain the most accurate and relevant result that would correspond to the real object. In addition, VIM technology allows you to keep all production data available to employees, which will ensure interaction at all stages of work, without delays and data loss. VIM will help to identify errors and inaccuracies in construction in advance, providing protection against additional costs due to erroneous construction models. With this technology, professionals in various fields of construction, design and architecture will be able to more effectively design, plan, build and operate buildings and infrastructure. According to the authors, the introduction of VIM technologies is the most important step to improve the quality and increase the level of domestic construction to modern European standards.
