Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of propyl gallate injection combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia. Methods Eighty-six patients with coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia admitted to our hospital from June, 2016 to June, 2018 were enrolled, and were divided into and observation group (n=43) and a control group (n=43) by the sampling method. The control group was treated with atorvastatin, and the observation group with propyl gallate injection and atorvastatin. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The changes of blood lipids, hemorheology, and vascular endothelial function before and after the treatment as well as the occurrence of adverse reactions during the treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of TG, TC, LDL-C, whole blood specific viscosity, whole blood specific viscosity low cut, plasma specific viscosity, fibrin content, and ET-1 were significantly lower and the levels of HDL-C, NO, and H2S were significantly higher after than before the treatment in the two groups(all P 0.05). Conclusion The combination of propyl gallate injection and atorvastatin for patients with coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia can effectively improve the blood lipid level, blood rheology indidcators, and vascular endothelial function and has high safety, so it is worth for clinical promotion. Key words: Propyl gallate injection; Atorvastatin; Coronary heart disease with hyperlipidemia
