Abstract

In this article, we propose the implementation of innovative solutions in an IMS (Internet Multimedia System) network environment. These solutions are implemented in an Asterisk AS (Application Server) server, which we will initially couple with an IMS network core. The core network used here is Clearwater with an outsourced HSS (Home Subscriber Server) from OpenIMSCore. In a second time, to couple with two IMS network cores (Clearwater). The users of each IMS network must be able to benefit from the same telephone services from the HSS. In a fourth generation context, some of our African countries are asking the telecom operators to interconnect. For this reason, we carried out the interconnection between two IMS networks allowing the users of the two IMS networks to be able to communicate with each other and benefit at the same time from the same telephone services implemented in the SA. The IMS occupies an important place in the 4G network as far as voice management is concerned. In this article, we highlight the importance of developing innovative services for the subscribers of a telecom operator. Today some countries are already starting to deploy even 5G which will offer broadband access to users. Voice is managed by the IMS network in 5G. Today, implementing services in IMS would be an advantage for tomorrow's telecom networks. Operators in African countries need to prepare themselves to take a place in the implementation of innovative services for their subscribers.
