Abstract
PROLOTHERAPY is the basic regenerative injection therapy which helps in the infusion of a medicament directly into the joint that stimulates proliferation of fibrous tissue to repair and stabilize the fibro-osseous junction (FOJ).many researches have shown that following a TMJ disorder biopsies performed after the completion of treatment showed statistically significant increases in collagen fiber and ligament diameter of up to 60%.also it is based on the concept that the cause of most chronic musculoskeletal pain is ligament and/or tendon weakness (or laxity), so with this method we strengthen the ligament in a minimally invasive manner.
