Abstract

Perovskite nano-materials have been rapidly developed in energy-related subjects due to their excellent photoelectric magnetic and catalytic performances in recent years. Rare-earth (RE) elements with special 4f electron configuration related properties have been widely used as dopants or components in perovskite nano-materials to improve their performances and broaden their applications. Based on this, this work summarizes the controllable synthesis of RE containing perovskite nano-materials in last decades and discusses the classical preparation methods of zero-dimensional, one-dimensional, two-dimensional and three-dimensional morphologies of perovskite nano-materials. According to the different morphologies of RE-containing halide and oxide nano-perovskites, the feasible synthetic approaches are reviewed. The development of RE-containing perovskite nano-materials is also prospected.
