Abstract
Cavernous sinus hemangioma is a rare benign tumor of the cavernous sinus, belonging to vascular malformation disease. Due to the lack of specific clinical manifestations and the insufficient knowledge on its imaging manifestations, the rate of misdiagnosis is high. Magnetic resonance imaging is the best imaging method for the diagnosis of cavernous sinus hemangioma. Microsurgery is the most effective treatment, and stereotactic radiotherapy can be considered the primary treatment for the tumor because it avoids the complications of microsurgery resection. The current treatment options still need further study, and more cases and longer-term follow-up are required to study the efficacy of different treatments. Key words: Cavernous sinus hemangioma; Microsurgery; Stereotactic radiosurgery
