Abstract

The results of the redox-reactions activity study in 27 patients with acute ulcer bleeding are presented. A relapse bleeding happened with 4 patients. It has been established that the activity of oxidative reactions due to the lack of glutathione system prevails in such patients. As a result, processes of oxidative proteins transformation are disturbed. This could be among such reasons as imbalance of haemostasis system, inhibition of regeneration processes and facilitate bleeding recovery. The indicators, that characterize glutathione system, oxidative modification of proteins, can be used with a prognostic aim.
