Abstract
The main environmental criteria of motor fuels corresponding EU standards and methods for facilitating their achievement on refinery are considered. It is shown that in modern refineries mandatory condition of production of Euro-gasoline is the presence of technological facilities to obtain isoparaffin — isomerization and alkylation. Another necessary condition to obtain Euro-fuels is the availability of production capacities for the effective cleaning of motor fuels from sulfur compounds. It is shown that in Ukraine motor fuels corresponding to Euro-standards, are available only at the Kremenchug refinery. The possibility of such fuels production at other enterprises of Ukraine has limited by outdated technological base, which modernization requires substantial investment and implementation time. The other limiting factor is limited own oil production. It is shown that Ukraine has sufficient resources of natural gas and coal for the production of motor fuels. Analysis of the global production of motor fuels from coal and natural gas is represented. It is shown that the implementation of technology for the synthesis of CO and H2 according to the Fischer-Tropsh to obtain diesel fuel and their direct synthesis of dimethyl ether for producing of synthetic gasoline allows to solve the problem of high quality motor fuels production from non-petroleum raw materials. For Ukraine is of considerable interest in the production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas from marginal fields, as well as from biomass. Bibl.14, Table 2.
