Abstract
Large volume neutron irradiation processing of semiconductor materials and devices has stimulated a renewed interest in neutron damage in semiconductors. Recent neutron damage experiments in Si are presented. Thermal neutron irradiation for industrial transmutation doping of float zone Si and fast neutron damage for the reduction of soft errors in Si computer memories are discussed.
