Abstract

The workshop exists as a forum to present and discuss work at the intersection between digital library and musicological research. We received a record number of submissions this year, with those presented advancing the state of the art across different aspects of Music Digital Libraries: technological advances as they are applied to Music Digital Libraries; digital studies where library resources support new musicological investigation; recognition and encoding of digital music resources; and innovative collections forming new Music Digital Libraries. These topics are reflected in the themes of our workshop sessions and proceedings.
