Abstract

"Cognition in the Wild" as a theme of the well-established ECCE conference series is intended to trigger the reflection of interactive settings involving cognitive, social, emotional, and technical factors. In particular, the community of researchers and practitioners in the area of cognitive engineering and ergonomics is encouraged to elaborate the various contexts influenced by these factors. In the tradition of the previous events, ECCE 2014, the 32nd Annual Conference of the European Association of Cognitive Ergonomics, addresses the interface between cognitive systems and interactive artifacts. The conference provides an opportunity to exchange concepts, new ideas, and practical experiences across all areas of cognitive ergonomics and cognitive engineering, in terms of a lively interaction platform involving researchers, developers, and educators.
