Abstract
Welcome to the 2010 International Symposium on Memory Management. ISMM continues to be the main venue for research in all areas of memory management. The thirteen papers (from 30 submissions) appearing in these proceedings cover diverse aspects of memory management. We used a double blind reviewing process. In addition to three reviews by Program Committee members, each paper received at least one review by a member of the Review Committee, which increased the range and depth of reviewer expertise. Authors were provided an opportunity to submit rebuttal responses to initial reviews, which helped ensure that decisions were not based on faulty interpretations. Program and Review committee members were allowed to be authors of submitted papers, but their papers were subjected to additional review and deliberation.
