Abstract

Welcome to the 14th Annual Conference on Digital Government Research dg.o 2013. This year the conference is hosted by the Laval University. Universite Laval (UL) was founded in 1867. It is the first French speaking university in North America. It is among the largest universities in Canada. UL provides an intellectually stimulating campus that is home to 1,300 research professors and 262 research groups and chairs. It is a rich and stimulating environment in the beautiful Quebec City. This year the program shows once more that the field of digital government is thriving. Conference participants come from several Countries around the world, demonstrating our diverse and multi-disciplinary community of researchers, students, and government managers. Over the next days, you will have a chance to listen to and engage with leading researchers and practitioners on a range of emerging, leading edge, and applied digital government projects in a number of application areas.
