Abstract

Editor's note: This article offers an opinion regarding regulatory efforts to control the quality of indoor air, sharing some thoughts on both the technical merits and legal ramifications of one state's proposed regulations. Since the article went to press, the state of Washington has withdrawn the indoor air quality regulations about which Mr. Paskal here offers his view. Although passage of these regulations is no longer imminent, this is an area that will likely receive federal and state regulatory attention in the future. The Journal welcomes letters to the editor commenting on this or similar regulation.
