Abstract

Demand for factors that encourage the health of pets is increasing, however, the use of animal products, especially goat dairy products is still little explored. There are few studies on the beneficial participation of such products in dog nutrition. Thus, this literature review aims to rise or potentially the potential use of goat milk in dog food, showing its effects on the microbiota and intestinal cells, leading to better enteric performance, increasing its use and application in clinical nutrition, influencing the development of research in the area addressed.
