Abstract

The Z-boson pair signal from strong WW scattering, WW\ensuremath{\rightarrow}ZZ, is significantly enhanced by a contribution from gluon-gluon fusion, gg\ensuremath{\rightarrow}ZZ, if W-boson and t-quark masses are both generated by electroweak symmetry-breaking condensates formed by quanta heavier than 1 TeV. By measuring the two components of the signal it will be possible to probe for different origins of the W-boson and t-quark masses.
