Abstract

Sterija, the first high school professor in Kragujevac, gave his introductory lecture of natural law on December 1-st in the year 1840. According to the understanding and terminology of his epoch Sterija differentiates positive from natural law. The positive law depends on lawgiver's will, is variable and arbitrary.
