Abstract
The conformational analysis of 2,2'-bithienyl and 3,3'-bithienyl derivatives has been accomplished by means of photoelectron spectroscopy. The interpretation of the spectral data indicates the existence of a twisted conformation. These results agree with previous electron diffraction studies.
