Abstract
RATIONALE: Montelukast prevents exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB) at the end of a once-daily dosing interval with repeated/chronic dosing. Data on prevention of EIB by a single oral dose of montelukast are limited, particularly in relation to other long-acting agents.
