Abstract

The overall prevalence of Porcine Cysticercosis (PCC) in the Kumasi Metropolis was 2.31%. The estimated direct annual financial losses due to PCC was 104,528.11 Ghana Cedis. The incidence of PCC can be minimised by confined rearing of pigs and proper disposal of human excreta.
