Abstract

Pressure variations of the magnetic state in ${\mathrm{Fe}}_{65}{\mathrm{Ni}}_{27}{\mathrm{Mn}}_{8}$ and disordered ${\mathrm{Fe}}_{72.8}{\mathrm{Pt}}_{27.2}$ Invar alloys have been investigated by ac susceptibility measurements under high pressure up to $7.5\phantom{\rule{0.3em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GPa}$. In both alloys, the ferromagnetic state vanished and high-pressure magnetic states came to appear with increasing pressure. In addition, we observed the pressure-induced phase transition from the high-pressure magnetic phase to nonmagnetic state in disordered ${\mathrm{Fe}}_{72.8}{\mathrm{Pt}}_{27.2}$. These results are corresponding to the previous theoretical studies.
