Abstract
Pressure Drop Measurements in Microfluidic Devices Huge hydrodynamic resistance slows down fluid flow in microfluidic channels. This resistance can be reduced through the design of nanostructured surfaces that induce interfacial slip. Quantifying the conditions for flow in microfluidic devices enables the design of new functional surfaces that will reduce hydrodynamic drag and increase mass transport, as reviewed in article number 2101641 by Christopher Vega-Sánchez and Chiara Neto.
