Abstract
Abstract First, the OSI standardization organizations in China are described. Three key projects for Science and Technology in China Seventh Five-Year-Plan, i.e. China OSI Project, China PDN Project and China State Economics Information System, are introduced. Then, PILOT project, a MHS implementation between China and Fed. Rep. Germany is covered. Finally, the China Scientific and Technical Information System for Small and Medium Enterprises is addressed. The conclusion is that China has recognized and been trying to keep up with the worldwide trend in developing and implementing the OSI standards.
