Abstract

Abstract Various mixed oxide nanotubes, such as perovskite-type compounds, ferrites, and silica-based mixed oxides, could be synthesized using carbon nanofibers as templates. Carbon nanofibers are effective templates for preparing mixed oxide nanotubes because they are easily coated with mixed oxide by the accumulation of precursors on their surface.
