Abstract

Porous Ni O film grown on the substrate of F-doped Sn O2 conductive glasses( FTO) was successfully prepared through the hydrothermal method in combination with high temperature calcination. The surface morphology, phase composition and the valence state of the obtained Ni O film were detected by SEM,TEM,XRD and XPS,respectively. The electrochemical performances were characterized by cyclic voltammetry( CV) and galvanostatic charge /discharge in the electrolyte solution of 6 mol/L KOH. These results indicate that the specific capcacitance of the Ni O electrode can reach 651. 6 F / g at a current density of 2 A / g. After1000 cycles 71. 6% of the maximum capcacitance is still remained, suggesting its excellent cycling stability and promising application as an ideal electrode material for supercapacitors.
