Abstract
In this article the concentrations of dissolved gases in the FR3 fluid of the new power transformer, measured during factory testing and the early months of operation, are compared with those found in earlier laboratory research. It is hoped that this comparison will assist industry in defining more precisely the dissolved gas concentrations characteristic of the normal operation of a power transformer using FR3 fluid as insulation.
