Abstract

Dear Authors and (Online) Participants of TMAE 2020,Welcome to the Proceedings of the 2020 2nd International Conference on Trends in Mechanical and Aerospace (TMAE 2020), which was supposed to be held in Washington DC, during September 25-27, 2020 with co-sponsored by Capitol Technology University, USA, but was changed to be held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The online conference was of great success, totally beyond anybody’s expectation, having a diverse group of expertise and backgrounds. Not to mention that participants are geographically diverse. We are glad to confirm that such diverse expertise and backgrounds were connected, forming a coherent conference environment and creating synergistic learning and sharing.TMAE 2020 aims to offer vital information for the universities, corporations, and engineering firms that must apply exciting mechanical and aerospace in the real world. In this respect, the conference brings together, engineers, researchers, students, professionals and policy makers who are interested in mechanical and aerospace. Its focus includes all facets of the field, ranging from theoretical aspects to technological issues, and up to the design and implementation of mechanical and aerospace. We would like to express our great appreciation to Prof. Ramesh Agarwal, from Washington University in St. Louis, USA, Prof. Ian McAndrew, from Capitol Technology University, USA, and Asst. Prof. Haijun Gong, from Georgia Southern University, USA for accepting to be keynote speakers at TMAE 2020. We would also like to thank the Program Chairs, the Session Chairs, the members of Advisory and Technical Committee and the reviewers who carefully evaluated the submissions and provided useful suggestions to improve them. Our thanks go to the authors with diversity of their backgrounds, experiences, interests, and perspectives for submitting their papers, presenting them at the conference and getting involved in discussions. We just regret that we would have been in Maryland, just north of Washington DC, but circumstances have made our conference virtual. Nevertheless, we still have internationally spread presenters that justifies saying International. If you are reading and find interesting, submit a paper for next year, if you presented this year return and help us grow to deliver the support these disciplines deserved. Here is hoping we can all meet in person next year, as we plan to have the same venue as we would have this year. See you 25th – 27th September, 2021.Warmest regards,Conference Committees of TMAE 2020
