Abstract
COMAT deals with recent trends in structural materials that cover production technologies (casting, forging, rolling, additive manufacturing…), heat and thermo-mechanical treatments, computer modelling and physical simulations and materials characterisation. COMAT started in 2010 so the last year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the conference and also the 20th anniversary of COMTES FHT Inc. The conference was organized by traditional tandem COMTES FHT Inc. and TANGER Ltd. There were big plans to celebrate these anniversaries with adequate dignity. However, the COVID-19 has changed it, as well as many other things and we ended up with a significantly reduced event. Although the situation was not positive, we highly appreciated interest of participants from Europe and Asia. We received many papers for publication in proceedings out of which 67 were selected for the proceedings publication. Due to an uncertain situation and almost a global lock-down it took much longer to finalize the review process this time. We would like to thank very much to reviewers and authors for their comments and papers corrections.
