Preface - NanoInnovation 2021

Abstract

The 6th edition of the NanoInnovation, Conference and Exhibition, has been held September 21-24, 2021, hosted as usual in the Renaissance Cloister by Giuliano da Sangallo of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of SAPIENZA University of Rome (Italy). The peculiar situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, showing a momentaneous break in the epidemy, allowed to conduct the conference in presence even if, to favor a larger audience and to support participants with difficulty in travelling, all the events were available also by remote connection.NanoInnovation is the main Italian meeting place for the wide and multidisciplinary community involved in the development of nanotechnologies and their integration with other key enabling technologies (KETs), in all application fields. The event aims at involving the scientific, industrial, and business communities in an open discussion environment, where researchers, technologists, managers, entrepreneurs and investors can share experiences, opinions and expectations about the role of nanotechnologies for future innovations.As in the already established protocol the Conference, with a strong bottom-up character, was co-organized with the support of the major Italian players in nanotechnology coming both from the public and academic research and from the industrial sector.List of Conference Chair, Organizing Committee, Steering Committee, Programme Committee, Honorary Committee are available in this pdf.
