Abstract

The article analyzes the changes in the system of labor relations under the influence of the spread of atypical, flexible forms of employment. The reasons for the institutionalization of precarization considered the spread of liberal ideas about the need to increase labor market flexibility and labor relations, as well as scaling up of various atypical forms of employment. The article analyzes the background of institutionalizing precarization: the formation in atypical forms of employment needs, organizational structure, precarization as a new for of workers rules. Precarization is demonstrated to be a new social stratum in our present society, which is composed by staff who do have not had permanent employment and social guarantees for a long time. Precarization is characterized as capital attack on workers’ rights. The prospects of institutionalizing precarization are also considered. Refs 34.
