Abstract

As a student-centered method, interactive teaching maximally inspires active thinking and learning of the trainees by reinforcing the positive interaction between instructors and trainees. In Beijing Children's Hospital interactive teaching was practiced in pediatric advanced life support training and the effect was evaluated. Through interactive teaching, standardized advanced life support information and knowledge were delivered to the trainees regardless of the different clinical background among pediatricians and nurses, and good effect which conventional teaching method could hardly get was attained. It is believed that interactive teaching could be a valuable teaching method for medical theory teaching and skill training.
