Prentice ayant de l'importance pour la planification des actions de l'ACRL (Association of College & Research Libraries) et apporte des elements reunis sous le vocable surveillance de l'environnement. L'utilite de la veille pour un organisme comme l'ACRL est introduite et continuee par un expose en 9 points composes d'alineas de ces tendances dans l'enseignement superieur significatives pour les bibliotheques universitaires
