Abstract

The contemporary world, on the brink of the fourth industrial revolution, is characterized by instability and temporariness as well as by unprecedented technical and technological progress. Adolescents who enter the stage of adulthood are faced with complex situations resulting both from their position on the line of life and from the consequences of the changes taking place. The article presents the complex situation of people in the early adulthood stage. It results from numerous and difficult developmental tasks, including professional work. The study indicates how they can be solved with the use of properly implemented continuing vocational education.
