Abstract

Colchicine, an old and well-known drug, used for treatment of rheumatic dieases. Colchicine inhibits the deposition of uric acid crystals and is an inhibitor of mitosis. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea are the clinical symptoms of colchicine poisoning. Cardiovascular collapse, shock and acidosis lead to mortality. We report two different cases of colchicine intoxication in whoom complete heart block observed. Seven years old boy and eigth years old girl admitted to emergency department with nausea, vomiting and neutopenia.
