Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the offer of postgraduate programs for the area of ​​physiotherapy in Ecuador in order to show the status and sufficiency of it. Costs, modality, duration of the offer and location are reviewed. At the same time, it analyzes the reality of the academic training of physiotherapists. The sample used to carry out the study consisted of 100 physiotherapists. Measurements and interventions to obtain data consisted of a survey. It is shown that the universities that offer these programs require more projection and follow-up regarding the positioning of these professionals in the face of the demands of the national and global environment.
