Abstract

This paper contains the text of invited presentation by the author at the Software Engineering Education Conference, which was held in Pittsburgh on April 30 and May 1, 1987. Topics presented here include an overview of the Wang Institute programs in software engineering, an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the Master of Software Engineering curriculum, and a discussion of reasons for termination of the software engineering education programs at Wang Institute of Graduate Studies.
