Abstract

Gene regulatory networks of a new class (tringers) organized according to the principle of composition of a ring genetic oscillator and bistable memory elements are proposed and investigated in mathematical models. It has been shown in silico that tringer systems have epigenetic properties and are capable to control the dynamic mechanism of phase variation in bacteria.
