Abstract
Immunocompromised patients are particularly at increased risk of getting severe Covid-19 infection and this includes patients with renal transplant. Thus, it is pivotal for this group of patients to receive Covid-19 vaccination which was shown to reduce morbidity and mortality. However, this cohort of patients may have vaccine hesitancy as these vaccines were not tested among renal transplant recipients in clinical trials. There were also reports of acute renal allograft rejection following Covid-19 vaccination.
