Abstract

Peritoneal dialysis-related infections are main complications of peritoneal dialysis, and Staphylococcus aureus is common pathogen, which is related to higher hospitalization rate, failure rate of peritoneal dialysis and mortality. This study is to explore the nasal carriage of Staphylococcus aureus in the peritoneal dialysis population of our center and its relationship with the occurrence of peritonitis.
