Abstract
The polarization of protons from the 12C(d, p) 13C reaction at E d = 12.4 MeV was measured for the ground state and first excited state transitions. The results obtained are compared with the vector analysing power (VAP) data for the same reaction and at the same energy of the incident deuterons. An attempt to fit the polarization data with the DWBA theory is also presented.
