Abstract
Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) has proved to be an effective treatment for Parkinson’s disease. However, selecting stimulation parameters such as current amplitudes and electrode contacts is currently done manually in a time-consuming and sub-optimal way. With directional leads, this process is especially challenging. In this study, image-based algorithms were developed that generate automated stimulation parameter suggestions.
