Abstract

Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) is a cardiac channelopathy that can cause sudden death secondary to lethal stress-induced ventricular arrhythmias. Type 1 CPVT (CPVT1) is associated with pathogenic variants in the RYR2-encoded cardiac ryanodine receptor (RyR2). ARM210 is an RyR closed state stabilizer (Rycal compound) enhancing the interaction of calstabin (FKBP12.6) and the RyR channel complex. ARM210 may have therapeutic potential for CPVT1.
