Abstract
This study aims to report 2 pleomorphic adenoma (PA) cases. The patient had pain complaint in mouth opening. Clinical observation found a hardened increase volume, smooth, fixed, without inflammation at the left side of the face. Computed tomography (CT) scans show a 3 cm in diameter, well-circumscribed lesion, with areas of calcification, located in the parotid region (upper lobe). The mass was surgically removed, the histopathologic examination confirmed the initial suggestion of PA, and up to the 10th month no recurrence was observed. The second patient reported a volume increase at the right submandibular. CT scans show a well delimited, lobular lesion without signs of calcification. Surgical resection was the chosen approach, and at 6-month follow-up no recurrence or motor deficit of the facial nerve was observed.
