Abstract

Experimental measurements of ultrasonic wave velocity and ultrasonic power attenuation are collected in plaster and composite short natural fibers/plaster matrix. During setting of these conglomerates, materials are mixed with different water/plaster ratios. A physical model of setting is proposed for these materials, to obtain time evolution of the solid skeleton during setting based on ultrasonic velocity and ultrasonic energy attenuation.
