Abstract
The article is devoted to the substantiation of the physical and spiritual value orientations of the life priorities of modern Ukrainian youth. The influence of physical culture and sports activities on the formation of the system of spiritual values and worldview of young people with the help of BEACTIVE DAY was traced. The BEACTIVE DAY campaign is a celebration of joy through fitness and physical activity for everyone who wants to be physically active throughout the day. The main components of physical activity and spiritual values in the field of physical culture and sports are revealed; the field of physical culture and sports is considered, in the process of mastering which the individual personal qualities and characteristics of a person are revealed in many ways; it is proposed to use the specifics of this field as much as possible in practice and everyday life. The system of spiritual values, attitudes and motives of the behavior of student youth, the degree of their responsibility for actions and deeds in relation to themselves and others, is also considered, consistent with the ideas of respect, freedom, goodness, love and a healthy lifestyle. The types of physical activity that modern youth tend to engage in are characterized. The directions of the formation of physical and spiritual qualities of a person under the influence of physical activity are considered. The positive impact of engaging in any physical activity on increasing the spiritual values of the individual and his healthy lifestyle is substantiated.
