Abstract

Teloganopsis puigae n. sp., a new species of Ephemerellidae from a Dipterocarpacea forest of Borneo, is described. Teloganopsis was considered as a monotypic genus for a long time, but a recent new systematic concept reveals that it encompasses 14 species. In order to know the phylogenetic position of Teloganopsis puigae n. sp. within the Teloganopsis genus, a cladistic analysis is also performed. Teloganopsis maculocaudata (Ikonomov, 1961) is removed from synonymy with T. mesoleuca (Brauer, 1857).
